Ranbir Kapoor's transformation into Lord Rama for Nitesh Tiwari's ambitious Ramayana has taken an intensely personal turn. The Bollywood superstar has reportedly purchased land worth Rs 3.31 crores in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama, signaling his deep spiritual connection to the role that has already reshaped his lifestyle.

"I believe Ayodhya has chosen me, and I have just answered this call," Kapoor shared, reflecting the profound impact this mythological epic has had on him. The actor has apparently overhauled his diet and daily routine to embody the revered deity, demonstrating a commitment that extends far beyond typical method acting.

This personal investment comes as the film faces mixed reactions online, particularly regarding Kapoor's casting as the beloved Hindu deity. However, his co-star Addinath M Kothare, who portrays Bharat in the film, has come out strongly in support of the casting choice. Kothare praised Kapoor as "a very honest and hardworking actor" and expressed confidence that audiences will appreciate his portrayal without fail.
