Nargis Fakhri joins NBK111 for special song as Balayya-Kajal pair locks
Bollywood beauty to shake a leg with Natasimham in mass number while heroine change brings back successful Bhagavanth Kesari pairing

The buzz around NBK111 just got a major boost with two significant casting developments that have Nandamuri fans talking. Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri has reportedly been roped in for a special song opposite Balakrishna, while the film has also seen a heroine change that brings back a proven combination.
Nargis, who gained pan-India recognition with Rockstar and recently appeared in Pawan Kalyan's Hari Hara Veera Mallu, is set to sizzle alongside Balayya in what promises to be a high-energy mass number. The special song shoot is scheduled to begin from May 8 on a specially erected set in Hyderabad. Given Balakrishna's track record with special songs, they're always crowd-pullers in theaters, expectations are sky-high for this Thaman-composed track.
Director Gopichand Malineni, who delivered a memorable special number in Veera Simha Reddy, is reportedly designing this song with mass audiences firmly in mind. The combination of Balayya's signature steps and Nargis's glamour quotient could well be the film's trump card for creating those whistles-and-cheers moments that define a proper mass entertainer.
Meanwhile, the heroine situation has seen an interesting turn. While Nayanthara was initially announced and even had a birthday poster released to good response, issues around dates, remuneration, and promotional commitments led to her exit. The makers have now locked Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead: a smart move considering the positive reception to her pairing with Balayya in Bhagavanth Kesari.
This reunion makes perfect sense from a commercial standpoint. Their chemistry in Bhagavanth Kesari worked well with audiences, and repeating successful combinations is classic Tollywood strategy. Reports suggest key scenes between Balayya and Kajal are currently being shot in Hyderabad.
For Malineni, who proved his mass credentials with Veera Simha Reddy, these casting choices signal his intent to deliver another crowd-pleasing entertainer. The Balayya-Malineni combination already has massive expectations, and these additions only add to the film's commercial ammunition.
