Ashu Reddy Warns of Legal Action After ₹9.8 Crore Fraud Allegations Surface

The Telugu entertainment industry finds itself dealing with another controversy as actress and social media personality Ashu Reddy confronts serious fraud allegations while simultaneously threatening legal action against what she calls false reporting.

A non-bailable case has been registered against Ashu Reddy and her family members following a complaint filed by one Satyanarayana on behalf of his son Dharmendra, a London-based software engineer. The allegations paint a troubling picture of a relationship that allegedly began in 2018 and escalated into significant financial exploitation.

According to the complaint, Dharmendra claims Ashu Reddy extracted assets worth approximately ₹9.8 crore from him under the promise of marriage. The alleged fraud includes nearly 5 kilograms of gold, substantial cash amounts, property purchases, and even a luxury villa advance worth ₹3 crore. The complaint also mentions ₹50 lakh allegedly given to Ashu Reddy's sister, Divya Reddy.

What makes this case particularly contentious is the allegation that when Dharmendra eventually pressed for marriage or return of his money, he was reportedly threatened with a counter-case instead of receiving his assets back. This escalation prompted his father to approach police, leading to the current investigation.

Ashu Reddy, however, isn't taking the media coverage lying down. In a sharp Instagram story response, she issued a stern warning about unauthorized reporting on her case. "Without my consent, any news or false information that is passing through, will be taken a severe legal action. Respect," she declared, clearly indicating her intention to fight back legally.

This case highlights the complex intersection of personal relationships and financial transactions in the entertainment industry. While police investigation continues into the financial allegations, Ashu Reddy's aggressive stance against media coverage suggests she views this as a coordinated attack on her reputation.
